Two men and a woman who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed multiple times in a knife attack have been bailed.

Officers were called to an incident in Marsh Gate, Doncaster at about 9.40am on Wednesday, May 11 after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder shortly after the incident, and police have this morning confirmed that all three people arrested have been bailed.

A police spokesman said: "The three people arrested on suspicion of attempt murder have all been bailed. The investigation remains ongoing."

The knife attack victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital following the incident.

His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
