A police cordon has been lifted and roads reopened after what were believed to be unexploded WWII bombs were discovered by construction workers in Sheffield city centre.

The scene - off Matilda Street - was sealed off earlier today following the discovery on a building site.

People were warned to stay away from the area and an Army Bomb Disposal team were called in.
