The full extent of the damage which has been done to a Sheffield city centre shop has been revealed after the lorry which smashed into it was removed.
A Christian book shop on West Street, Sheffield centre, has been left with huge damage after a lorry smashed into it on Tuesday afternoon.
The store’s owner told The Star he feared the building could have been left with structural issues.
Now the lorry has been removed and the full extent of the damage is apparent.
All of the glass has been smashed in, with several bookshelves of displays in the window flattened.
There has also been damage dealt around the window frame and along the ceiling of the store.
The store has been trading in Sheffield for 55 years.
