IT was back to school for staff at Sainsbury’s supermarket on The Moor in Sheffield as they continued their programme of fundraising events in support of St Luke’s Hospice.
The store has chosen the hospice, currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, as its charity of the year.
So staff swapped their usual dress for school uniforms as they prepared for the autumn term with a Back to School day, bringing the total amount raised so far to £800.
Next on the shop’s fundraising agenda will be a foreign coin collection, which runs from September 12 to 24.
A similar event is also being held at the Crystal Peaks branch of Sainsbury’s, which is also supporting St Luke’s throughout the 40th anniversary year.
