A MAN who crashed his car into a wall is believed to have lost consciousness at the wheel beforehand.
The 66-year-old was driving his Renault Clio on Sackup Lane towards its junction with Darton Lane, Barnsley, when he rolled across a ‘stop’ line on the road and into the boundary wall of a nearby house.
The man, from Staincross, Barnsley, survived and was taken to Barnsley Hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information about the collision at 9.10pm on Friday should call South Yorkshire Police.
In Rotherham a woman was cut free from her car by firefighters after a collision outside the entrance to Ulley Country Park. She suffered chest and leg injuries when her Landrover Freelander was in collision with a Peugeot on Pleasley Road at 7pm on Saturday.
