Lotto players in South Yorkshire are being urged to double check their tickets after bosses announced a life-changing six figure prize is yet to be claimed.
The hunt is on for the winner of the £146,658 prize from the draw which took place on Wednesday January 26.
Lotto chiefs say that the ticket was bought in the Sheffield area and the winner matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the draw.
The winning Lotto numbers on were 14, 17, 20, 43, 47, 49 and the bonus ball was 31.
The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Monday July 25 to make their claim.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to good causes.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.”
“This amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune!
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call 0845 9100000.
