TWO north Derbyshire pedestrians were taken to hospital - one after being struck by a car and the other after being hit by a motorbike.
In the first incident an 87-year-old woman was struck by a Vauxhall Corsa on Church Street, Brimington, Chesterfield, at 5.42pm on Friday.
She was taken to hospital with a minor head injury.
A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment in the second incident after he was involved in a collision with a Triumph motorbike on Whittington Hill, Old Whittington.
Both he and the 49-year-old male motorcyclist escaped without serious injuries from the crash.
