Firefighters cut two people free from a car after a crash in Sheffield.

Emergency services were alerted to a three-vehicle collision in Castlebeck Drive, Manor, at 9.50pm yesterday.

Firefighters had to remove the roof of one of the vehicles involved to free two people trapped inside.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "At around 9.50pm yesterday, emergency services responded to reports a green Ford Fusion, black Mercedes and black Vauxhall Astra had collided on Castlebeck Drive, Sheffield.

"Those involved are believed to have sustained minor injuries in the incident

"Hastilar Road, from Prince of Wales Road to Harborough Avenue, and Harborough Avenue, from Prince of Wales Road to Nodder Road, were closed at the time of the incident but later reopened."
