Meet handsome brothers - Ashley and Frankie!

This lovely pair arrived at Sheffield Animal Centre last September after being found living rough, with no one to care for them.

Despite being initally very unsure of human contact or company, often choosing to hide away rather than interact with staff, these sweet little guys have gradually come out of their shells, especially when tempted by tasty treats.

The back and white domestic shorthairs, both thought to be around six months old, have no known health issues.

Adam Spencer, of RSPCA Sheffield, said: “Due to their timid natures, Ashley and Frankie would be more suited to a home with adults and teenagers who will allow them all the quiet time they need to settle in, whilst spending time gaining their trust and boosting their confidence with love, playtime and tasty goodies.

“They are looking for a home where they can stay together too, as not only are they siblings - these little fellows have been through a lot together and are very clearly best buddies!”

It is unknown how they would respond to living with younger children, other cats, or dogs, so a lot of initial introduction would be necessary to ensure they were going to the best place for them.
