A large area of scrub near the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster was set on fire last night.

Fire crews spent about 90 minutes spraying water and foam on the flames, off Warning Tongue Lane, which also threatened an electricity pylon in the woodland.

A spokesman said the fire was started deliberately, as was another one an hour earlier in the same woods.
