Television favourite Michaela Strachan is to visit Doncaster’s Yorkshire Wildlife Park this weekend.
The star will be taking part in a series of events across the weekend as well as Take That tribute band providing music to celebrate Animal Action Day.
Michaela will return with her Really Wild Adventures show with performances across Saturday and Sunday in the animal action theatre.
She will be on stage at 11am, 2pm and 5.15pm and will also be doing book signings during the day in the Safari Village.
Visitors can also enjoy jugglers, magicians and fun workshops at the innovative multi-award winning park.
There will also be a series of informative talks from the rangers to mark Animal Action Day, an event to increase awareness, appreciation and respect of all animals whilst raising money for the conservation projects of the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation.
Foundation Trustee Cheryl Williams said: “It will be an inspiring day for everyone and we hope visitors will turn out to support Animal Action Day. Every penny raised will go to the vital projects of the Foundation.”
“It’s going to be a fantastic weekend all round and we are delighted to welcome Michaela back,” added the park’s Events Manager Chris White. “She was really popular with all the children and families last year and the show really is a must-see event.
“The Safari Nights are proving extremely popular so it is best to book in advance, especially as it coincides with Animal Action Day which is an important day in our calendar.”
Music will fill the air with live acoustic rock and soul sessions in The Courtyard between 4pm and 8pm while children will be able to practice magic and juggling skills with the roving entertainers.
A bangless firework will be the finale after the world famous Take That Live tribute act perform. The band has even won praise from the real Gary Barlow.
