THREE colleagues from Sheffield’s Royal Mail centre are set to take on a 10km road race raising money for charity.
Mark Linaker, Ibrar Ahmed and Graham Whittlestone, who work at the centre in Attercliffe, will take- part in the Wakefield event on April 3.
They are running in support of Wakefield Hospice and are aiming to raise £2,000.
Mark, aged 47, a team leader at the centre, is a regular runner, while 24-year-old Ibrar, and Graham, 40, both operations managers, are newcomers taking on their first challenge.
Proceeds will be split between the hospice and Barnardo’s – Royal Mail’s official charity partner for the year.
Sponsorship and donations can be dropped off at the customer reception at the centre on Brightside Lane, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
