Trio on the run for cancer charity
THIS Rotherham trio will be raising money for charity and seeing the sights of Edinburgh when they travel to Scotland to take part in the city's marathon.
Jane Hore, Kay Hester and Fiona Wilson from Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham, are hoping to complete their first 26.2 mile run in around five hours and have been training hard since January.
The event takes place on May 31. Last year they completed the 25-mile Rotherham Roundwalk and raised 800 for the Shiloh Homeless Project in Rotherham.
This year the ladies are raising funds for Sheffield's Cavendish Centre, which supports cancer patients and their families.
