PUT on your wellies and lend a hand at a tree planting session in a Sheffield park.
Native species will be planted in Concord Park, Shiregreen, between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, at a public event organised by Sheffield Council and the park’s friends group.
The event is taking place in conjunction with work to thin existing areas of woodland to improve the park.
Tools and planting instruction will be provided. The area being planted is off the main path between Oaks Lane and Concord Road.
