The annual Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust Memory Tree appeal has taken root in the Frenchgate Centre once more.

Kind-hearted Frenchgate Centre shoppers have already been flocking to the tree which will help raise funds for our Miles Better Million campaign.

The Doncaster Free Press has joined forces with DCDT to raise £1 million to bring radiotherapy services to our town for the first time ever.

The yearly festive fund-raiser kicked off in the centre on Monday - helping push us ever closer to our goal.

The Memory Tree allows people to remember their loved ones and boost campaign coffers at the same time.

The tree is in the shopping centre from 10am to 4pm until December 23. Shoppers can make a donation in return for a memory decoration to place on their own tree.
