Father and son travel experts Jeff and Paul Rhodes are used to the jetset lifestyle.
But this summer, the Doncaster travel agents will be organising a their own trip when they take part in a dash across Europe taking in five countries in three days and raising cash for children’s hospice Bluebell Wood.
Jeff, aged 62, and Paul, 35, from Blaxton, who jointly run Small World Travel, in Tickhill, will be competing with other travel professionals in the Travel Trade Crusade.
It starts in Calais at 9am on Friday, July 12, and finishes in Amsterdam on July 14.
The duo will be taking part in the rally in their beloved car Dex, a kit car built by Jeff and his friend Scott Brook.
Said Jeff of the challenge: “Small World Travel is proud to be part of the first ever Travel Trade Crusade.”
Rachael Dawes of Bluebell Wood said: “This sounds like a lot of fun and is a great way to raise money for our children.”
