Chatsworth estate has launched a new scheme to help young unemployed people into work.
The 20-week programme has been introduced in a bid to support youngsters and give them the chance to gain experience so they can secure a job in the future.
Those who take part will work across gardening, food retail and visitor guiding at the Derbyshire estate.
Duke of Devonshire Peregrine Cavendish, who welcomed the first trainees, said: “Here at Chatsworth we’re keen to take an active part in helping young people in our local area into work.”
Trainees are guaranteed an interview for suitable vacancies, and a reference, after the programme has run with the Babington Group.
Some positions are still available. Email email@example.com.
