Trail to bloom in springtime

VOLUNTEERS and Doncaster Council Community First officers have planted daffodils along a stretch of the Trans Pennine Trail through a Doncaster village.

The bulbs have been put in along the route just off Hound Hill in Adwick on Dearne.

A council report said: "These daffodils should give a lovely show in spring, not only for cyclists and walkers who utilise this path on a regular basis, but also for motorists who drive down Hound Hill Lane."

The trail is part of a route which takes cyclists from coast to coast.
