Traffic problems as man found injured on Sheffield road

A major bus route was diverted in Sheffield tonight (Tuesday) after a man was found injured on a road.

Paramedics and police were called a man who was found injured at the junction of Bramall Lane and Queens Road at about 4.12pm.

Police said they are unsure how the man came to be injured, but he was not thought to have been involved in a collision.

No more details are available on the man but he is conscious and breathing.

First Bus warned it is was running its 47 service as a 48, but the service is now back to normal.

But motorists are warned to expect congestion in the area this evening.
