KIND-HEARTED South Yorkshire residents are being urged to help raise cash for charity by trading in old electrical goods.
Supermarket giant Tesco is calling on people to donate their old mp3 players, digital cameras and televisions as part of a fundraising drive for its chosen charity Cancer Research UK.
Claire Rowney, head of partnerships for Cancer Research UK, said: “It is a great way to declutter and raise money to support Cancer Research UK.”
The Electrical Trade-in has been organised to coincide with Recycle Week, which takes place from June 18 to 25.
Shoppers can visit www.tescoelectricaltradein.com to find out how much each item is worth, download a postage label or trade it in at a Tesco.
