Singer Toyah Willcox is to return to Rotherham for a second time this week to host the town’s Children’s Festival singing celebration One Voice.
The event on Friday will be the finale to the annual Children’s Festival, which celebrates the achievements of Rotherham’s children and young people.
It is to be held in the New York Stadium and is expected to be attended by more than 1,500 children from 42 schools, along with spectators.
Festival organiser Fiona Radford said: “We are so lucky to have her back. She will be singing two songs specifically arranged for this event with the children. Through her passion for music and dedication to engaging children and young people in music, Toyah brings a real magic.”
