A toy exchange scheme which will raise money for vulnerable children in South Yorkshire has been launched.
Children’s charity Barnardo’s has joined forces with Argos to launch the third annual Argos Toy Exchange scheme which will run until November 25.
Customers can drop off previously owned toys at their local Barnardo’s shop or any Argos store in return for a £5 voucher towards the cost of new toys.
All donated toys are then sold in Barnardo’s shops to raise money for disadvantaged children supported by the charity.
Steve Oversby, Director of Barnardo’s in Yorkshire, said: “Barnardo’s helps some of the most disadvantaged youngsters in the region, including those growing up in poverty, those trying to escape abuse and those who have a disability.”
