FORMER pupils of a Sheffield school enjoyed a special tour of the city’s Cutlers Hall.
The Central Technical School Old Boys’ Association members were greeted by Master Cutler Pamela Liversidge.
Between 1933 and 1964, the school was located close to the hall in the Firth, Bow and Holly buildings, now part of the Leopold Hotel and Leopold Square complex.
Many schools, colleges and centres of education occupied the buildings from 1879 and there is even a room called the ‘headmaster’s study’ in the hotel.
Stuart Green, association secretary, said: “A lot of people hadn’t been around the hall and they loved the tour, as well as meeting the Master Cutler.
“It is all part of the city’s history.”
