Top snooker stars are competing in the International Championship qualifiers in South Yorkshire this week, and entry for fans will be free.

Judd Trump, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, Shaun Murphy, John Higgins and Jimmy White are among some of the names that will battle it out at the Barnsley Metrodome.

The winners will go through to the final stages in Daqing, China, to compete for the £125,000 top prize.

Fans can turn up on the day and gain access to the arena, with no need to book tickets.

World number one Selby takes on Scotland’s Eden Sharav on Wednesday.

Thursday’s top matches include Masters champion Murphy against China’s Lyu Chenwei.

Neil Robertson takes on Kuldesh Johan on Friday, while Saturday’s intriguing battles include Whirlwind Jimmy White against Rod Lawler, four-time World Champion John Higgins against Ashley Hugill and Judd Trump against Michael Wild.

Session times on each day are 9.30am, 2.30pm and 7.30pm, with all matches best of 11 frames.
