Toilet charge is common sense

THE 20p charge for use of toilets in Midland station is common sense really.

Every month I make a trip to Manchester on a Sunday.

On March 9, just before the train arrived, I used the toilets on platform 6A and noticed a tap would not turn off. Getting on my train I thought, what a waste of water.

A month later, in April, the same tap was still running.

Do I report it to the guard, ticket collector or the girl serving in the kiosk?

Then I remembered there is a cleaning rota on the wall.

The cleaner must have noticed it running!

When I catch my train in May will it still be running?

I doubt all the 20ps collected will cover the water rates.
