Toddlers from across Sheffield today donned safari-themed fancy dress and took a walk on the wild side for children’s charity Barnardo’s.
Sheffield’s Millhouses Park is the venue for the 15th Barnardo’s Big Toddle.
Organisers say this year’s event is set to be the wildest, brightest and biggest yet – with children encouraged to dress up as their favourite safari animals.
The Big Toddle is a short sponsored walk.
Cash raised will help support Barnardo’s Early Years work in the area – supporting children with physical and learning disabilities, autism and behavioural problems.
Barnardo’s Sheffield Toddle co-ordinator Pauline Clark said: “The toddle is a great way to have fun, get fit and raise money to help other children at the same time.
“The harsh reality is that growing up is very tough for the children Barnardo’s works with.
“Putting their best feet forward today, even these tiniest of Barnardo’s supporters are showing they too believe in children.”
The walk was taking place at 10.30am.
