ROTHERHAM Titans rugby club has announced it is joining the national Tickets for Troops scheme to provide entry for injured and serving armed forces personnel.
Tickets for Troops provides free tickets for armed forces personnel.
All serving members of HM Forces, and all those medically discharged from the Forces since the start of military action in Afghanistan in 2001, are eligible to register.
The announcement follows plans to set up the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy, a new competition involving the RFU Championship sides the Titans, Leeds Carnegie and Doncaster.
The club is among a host of prominent organisations and individuals to support of the scheme.
Tickets for Troops chairman Lord Jonathan Marland said: “The scheme has benefited from a huge wave of generosity in support of our forces.”
