VOLUNTEERS transforming Edlington’s former Brick Ponds have held their last clear-up session of the year.
The group is trying to improve the site, which it is now calling Martinwells Lake.
Maureen Tennison, one of the group’s founders, said: “We were determined to have one more big push.
“We all make a great team.”
Volunteer Phil Cole added: “The Friends of Martinwells Lake wanted to cut back some of the paths around the lake one last time before the end of the year.”
The Friends’ next clear-up day is on Saturday, January 14.
