IT’S a great job if you’ve got some time on your hands - not to mention a head for heights.
Workmen are making repairs to one of Sheffield’s most familiar sights - the Town Hall clock face.
And the contractors carrying out the job must be clocking some great views of the city centre while they’re up there.
The £20,000 project will take around three weeks to complete.
And that’s no time at all, especially when you consider how big and complex the famous clock is.
The repairs are necessary due to the harsh weather last winter, and are being carried out by workmen employed by Potts of Leeds - the very firm which originally manufactured and installed the clock back in 1896.
