Police have arrested three men in connection with an alleged assault in a Sheffield sandwich shop last Saturday lunchtime.
Staff and customers at the Beres pork sandwich factory shop on Herries Road were left in shock after a man was apparently stabbed while waiting to be served.
The three men, aged 20, 22 and 24, all from Sheffield, were arrested yesterday evening on suspicion of attempted murder. All three were kept in police custody overnight.
Police were called at around 1.10pm on Saturday following reports a 21-year-old man had been assaulted.
Around five customers were queuing in the shop at the time of the incident.
The 21-year-old man received hospital treatment for a serious injury, believed to be a stab wound. He was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.
