POLICE investigating the murder of a popular rugby coach and father-of-three who died after he was attacked in a South Yorkshire pub have arrested a third person.
A 47-year-old man from Maltby was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of assault and public order offences in connection with the death of Robert Hurdley.
Mr Hurdley died following an incident at the Don Jon Hotel in Maltby last weekend.
The 47-year-old was released on bail until next month.
A 35-year-old man arrested at the weekend has been released with no further action, while Daniel Gerrard, aged 30, of Highfield Park, Maltby, who is charged with murder, is remanded in custody.
