Tools were stolen from a van parked in a Sheffield street.

The tools, worth around £800, were taken from a Ford Transit parked in Sheffield Road, Hackenthorpe.

Another Ford Transit broken into in Watch Street, Woodhouse Mill, had batteries and vehicle accessories worth £1,300 stolen from it.

A dash cam was stolen from a vehicle in Herries Road South, Hillsborough, after a window was prised open, and a sat nav and a bag containing a purse were taken from a vehicle in Langsett Road South, Oughtibridge.

Police officers are also investigating the theft of a sat nav after a window was smashed to get into a car in Gilpin Street, Upperthorpe.
