Therapy centre royal honour

SOUTH Yorkshire charity the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre has received a prestigious regional community award.

The organisation, based at Catcliffe, Rotherham, and which was set up in 1985 to provide therapies and support for people affected by the condition, is the latest recipient of The Duke of York Community Initiative Award.

Mike Jones, MS Therapy Centre chairman, said: “Being awarded the Duke of York Community Initiative is a fantastic achievement and a real honour for us and the members who give their time so freely.”

Simon Blagden, of The Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award scheme, said: “I would like to offer our congratulations to the centre.”
