BRIGHT, breezy and very busy.
That’s the girls from Funky Dance Fever who have been adding a splash of colour to events around the county in the last few weeks – and there’s more to come.
The girls performed at Weston Park Cancer Hospital’s Run in the Park event and danced their socks off in aid of the charity.
After cheering the runners across the finish line, the girls hot footed it across the city to perform at Ballifield Primary School’s summer fair.
And on Sunday, August 7 they will be performing at Rother Valley Country Park as part of the Big Fun Run event.
Amy Burton, who runs the dance school with her sister Jo, said: “At Weston Park the girls gave a fantastic, energetic display in their vibrant orange outfits.
“We are very proud of the girls for all their hard work.
“It was great to be involved in a brilliant event for such a worthy charity and we hope we helped to raise lots of money.
“Over the last few years the girls have raised lots of money for various causes, including Ex-Service and Armed Forces charities, Fire Fighter’s Charity, British Heart Foundation, RSPCA and over £1,100 for Comic Relief 2011.”
Funky Dance Fever classes are for children aged between six and 16.
