The day Sheffield moved more - PICTURES

SHEFFIELD city centre was on the move at the weekend as more than 100 people took part in a mass fitness class.

Shoppers did a double take as crowds gathered outside Sheffield City Hall at exactly 1pm for the event, called 'The Day Sheffield Moved More'.

It was organised by Sheffield International Venues through social networking internet sites. It is the latest flash-mob event in the city, which involve people arranging via the internet to meet in the same location to do something unusual.

- Watch the action by visiting Facebook page 'The Day that Sheffield MOVED' or www.twitter.com/movemoresheff.
