I wish to express my gratitude for the wonderful tribute article you provided in The Star on Saturday, May 2, after the death of my husband Keith Clarke.

The day of the funeral was one of the hardest days of my life and thanks to your team you helped make a very difficult occasion an extra special memory of Keith’s life and the love of Elvis.

Many people helped in every possible way, during and after Keith’s seven-month illness.

I would also like to thank, on behalf of Keith and myself, doctors and nurses at the Hallamshire and Weston Park Hospitals.

Thanks also go to the amazing, wonderful doctors and staff at St Luke’s Hospice, (God bless them) and our own GP Dr Marsden.

I would also like to thank the fantastic undertakers Michael and Cheryl Fogg, minister Lisa Scott, all staff at the Sherwood pub, all family and friends, too many to mention, and everyone who attended Keith’s services.

A special thank you to the family pallbearers and of course Elvis himself.

Along with you, I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.

Well done to The Star.
