On Sunday, October 25, I was on my way home from Crystal Peaks on my mobility scooter, when coming up Beighton Road at Woodhouse the power on my scooter died.
I came to a halt and after about 15 minutes a fellow noticed my predicament and came to my assistance.
After contacting my insurance company with no joy of any help, the young man rang his mother and father to come and help.
The kind people came and between them they got me and my scooter back home to Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village.
From the bottom of my heart I thanked them but I didn’t get their names.
What a magnificent piece of generosity.
