On Sunday, May 19, my wife and I went on a short walk on the Trans Pennine Trail between Renishaw and Killamarsh.
During the walk my wife was taken ill, so we had to call an ambulance, and she stayed overnight in the Northern General Hospital.
My wife and I would like to thank a group of cyclists and a lady runner, who stayed with us until the ambulance arrived. They went to Killamarsh bridge to direct the medical teams to our location.
They assisted the paramedic with his equipment to where we were) and made arrangements to have the gates on the trail unlocked, to give access to the ambulance.
The names of the Good Samaritans were Caroline, Helen, Russ, Philip, paramedic Kevin and the ambulance team and ranger Paul. Many thanks to you all, my wife is recovering and making good progress.
