TENANTS’ representatives in South Yorkshire have pledged support for reforms in social housing, providing changes are managed correctly.
Tenants and residents from across South Yorkshire attended a workshop at Barnsley Tenants Resource Centre, where they discussed the changes proposed by the Department of Communities and Local Government.
A variety of views and opinions were shared.

The South Yorkshire Tenants and Residents Network is in favour of plans as long as they are managed within strict guidelines.
They oppose removal of life-long tenancies.
