The cast of children’s TV programme The Sparticle Mystery took over part of Magna Science Adventure Centre to film an episode for the second series.

The CBBC show tells the story of 10 children who are left to fend for themselves after a science experiment goes wrong, resulting in all those of age 15 and over disappearing into a parallel universe. The second series is due to be broadcast next year.

Line producer Liz Noble, of Sparticles Productions, an independent production company which makes the programme for the BBC, said: “Magna is a fantastic location and should look great on screen.”

Magna’s sales director Helen Davies, added: “It is very apt for us to play host to children’s TV as we are a family visitor attraction.”
