A teenager arrested on his 16th birthday has been charged with burglary, handling stolen goods and possession of cannabis.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Sheffield Youth Court on Thursday - alongside a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.
They are each charged with one count of burglary in relation to the theft of computing equipment from a house in Carr Forge Road, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield, on Wednesday last week.
The three also each face a second charge of handling stolen goods, in relation to a burglary the previous week.
They were all given conditional bail and will next appear at the youth court in Sheffield on Wednesday, October 30.
An 18-year-old man - Dane Whiteley, of Myrtle Road in Heeley - appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on the same date, charged with burglary in relation to the incident at Carr Forge Road, and handling stolen goods.
He entered no plea and was bailed, pending an appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on November 7.
