Two boys, aged 17, have been arrested in Sheffield over a number of robberies in a city cemetery.

They were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of committing three robberies in Burngreave cemetery earlier this year.

The boys were quizzed before being released on bail.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police continue to investigate three reported robberies from earlier this year that are alleged to have taken place as the victims walked through Burngreave cemetery.”
