A TEENAGER has been stabbed in the abdomen in what police believe was a targeted assault in Sheffield.
The 18-year-old was attacked on Boundary Road in Wybourn.
Det Chief Insp Zaf Ali, from Moss Way CID, said: “We believe this attack to be targeted and possibly linked to other recent incidents in the Wybourn area.
“We are trying to establish the full circumstances of the incident and conducting local inquiries in an effort to locate the suspect.
“Officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team are patrolling the area to assist with the investigation and to provide a visible presence and reassure local residents.”
The attack happened at around 10.15pm last Monday, March 5. Police disclosed the details only yesterday.
