a TEENAGER who left a youth with a fractured skill after an attack has been sentenced to 21 months’ custody.
Daniel Forthergill, aged 19, was part of a group which approached a 17-year-old boy on Troughbrook Lane, Chesterfield, on December 6 last year.
There was a scuffle between Fothergill and the teenager, leaving the victim with a fractured skull and the loss of hearing in one ear.
Forthergill, of Southgate Way, Barrow Hill, admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He was sentenced to 21 months in a young offenders’ institution at a hearing at Derby Crown Court.
