An ink-redible show took place in South Yorkshire when body art fans flocked to Magna Science Adventure Centre.
More than 250 tattoos were inked in event with 100 tattoo artists from across Europe showcasing their skills.
Organiser Mike Laws said: “We had lots of positive comments and a really good weekend. Some of the artists said this was the best convention they have ever worked.”
The force was with ticket holders as the event was Star Wars themed to coincide with the new film.
Dozens of people paid a permanent tribute to the film by getting tattoos, including Darth Vader and Yoda.
Stormtroopers, Jabba the Hut and Chewbacca also had their photos taken with fans.
Artists battled it out in competitions and there was a live tattoo duel.
Winner of best in show was Callam Godley, tattooist at Holy Mountain in Scunthorpe whose work included a zombie minion, a life-like tattoo of a woman’s face and Iron Man.
Experts from the area included Deke Foster, from Follow Your Dreams Tattoo, and Jess Perry, of Septum Collium in Sheffield.
Stoke-on-Tent artist Simon Cooke won the best Star Wars piece with an intricate work of Padmé Amidala.
