A FARM in Sheffield is offering residents the chance to start the day with a healthy meal by serving a range of breakfast dishes this week.
Heeley City Farm’s kitchen is holding its Farmhouse Breakfast Week until Saturday, offering a menu of all-day vegetarian breakfasts, pancakes with a variety of fillings and ‘hippy porridge’.
Clare Thompson, the farm’s cafe manager, said: “Breakfast is really important - a tasty, healthy start to the day gives you lots of energy.
“Tucking into a healthy breakfast means that you are less likely to eat unhealthy snacks before lunch.”
The farm celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
