A LOOK at the 1871 Paris Commune and the European-left will be top of the agenda at the meeting of the Sheffield Branch of the Historical Association next Thursday, February 14.
Sheffield University’s Dr Timothy Baycroft will be the speaker at the free event, to be held in The Lecture Theatre in the Grayson Building at Birkdale School.
The talk at the school, on Oakholme Road, Broomhill, will begin at 7.30pm, and parking is available. Branch secretary Pam Carlson said everyone was welcome.
