CALLING all daredevils - a charity needs you.
National children’s support service Childline is looking for people from across South Yorkshire to sign up for a fundraising feat.
Organisers of The Big Skydive, which takes place at airfields across the country on Saturday, October 13, is looking for people to sign up to jump at one of the sites, which include the Yorkshire coast town of Bridlington.
Nigel Hague, aged 83, the father of MP William Hague, completed a charity skydive last year and said: “I really enjoyed the challenge, it was thrilling! I would recommend it to anyone no matter their age.”
Christine Mellor, ChildLine area manager, said: “Whatever your reason for taking part your support will enable us to train more counsellors and answer more calls for help.”
To sign up email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0113 218 2736. No experience is necessary and participants must raise sponsorship of £395.
