Daredevils are wanted to take the Powerfan Challenge in Rotherham.

The Myasthenia Gravis Association is looking for people to take part on Saturday, February 8, at the Abyss at Magna. The Powerfan sees people step off a platform and plummet towards the floor, before the fan kicks in to slow people’s fall, ensuring a soft and safe landing. Would-be participants who raise £100 can take part for free. For details, call Linda McDonald on 01325 308180. Myasthenia Gravis, also known as the ‘ragdoll illness, is a rare, neuro-muscular condition which affects about 10,000 people in the UK.
