AUTHORS, academics and poets will gather for a debate exploring issues around dyslexia.
The event, organised as part of Sheffield’s Off the Shelf literary festival, will see storyteller Simon Heywood, University of Nottingham teacher Deborah Stevenson exchange views on the reading and writing difficulty which is thought to affect around 10 per cent of the British population.
Proceedings will be chaired by Brendan Stone, an academic at The University of Sheffield and leader of Storying Sheffield.
Debate Dyslexia takes place at Quaker Meeting House, James Street in the city centre, tomorrow from 7pm.
Admission is free and there is no need to book.
